RightFielders Women in Sports

RightFielders Women’s Sports blog is a unique experience as a sports gossip site. Our women writers will bring you the other side of sports, off the field topics where celebrity personalities and sports intersect. For female athletes, celebrity women connected with sports, and the wives and girlfriends of our favorite athletes, RightFielders.com is the place for you.

Right Fielders started in 2006, becoming the third in a string of multiple websites which span the entertainment and news world under the “Right” brand. Sister websites in the entertainment division include Right Celebrity, Right Television, Right Cinema, Right Bollywood, Right Fashions and Right On Music. Future sites in the entertainment division will include a photo gallery, teen entertainment website, and a site focused on celebrity babies.

In the news division, Right Pundits and Right Juris Law were joined recently by Right Cuisine. In 2008 we merged in Blue Star Chronicles, sometimes called Right Military for consistency. Future websites in the news division will include topics on history, science, and the arts.

Mary McCain aka “Risemoon” is the publisher of Right Fielders. Her hope is that Right Fielders will do our part to reduce social stigmas for women in a way that is both thought-provoking and culturally beneficial.

Ms. McCain obtained a post-baccalaureate degree, something she refers to as “way too much school,” and proceeded to join the payrolls of various corporations with nice windows. She is also a mother, wife, and local philanthropist residing near San Francisco in California.

Jeanette Johnson joined the Right Celebrity family in March 2007 and was promoted to Managing Editor in August 2007 and Sports Editor for the Right Fielders website. She has her own celebrity blog, Jeanette’s Celebrity Corner, and it was through a simple email of exchanging links that she forged a wonderful relationship with RC blogs.

Jeanette attended Arizona State University and studied elementary education. With one year left to go, marriage and her new husband’s job transfer out of state quickly put her university studies on hold.

Jeanette has always had a passion for writing, and she has been obsessed with everything celebrity and sports as far back as she can remember. She was a tomboy as a child and loved watching sports. As the oldest of eight kids, she would often attend basketball, football, and baseball games with her father. She started her own personal blog in July 2006, and found that blogging about celebrities/sports was more interesting than the daily trials and tribulations of a stressed out, work at home, minivan driving momma, thus the birth of her celebrity website, Jeanette’s Celebrity Corner in September 2006.

Jeanette is married and has three children ages 8 to 14. She makes her home outside of Phoenix, Arizona.

Jenivieve Elly is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She recently worked as a Technology Specialist at UBS Financial Services where she would handle tech support issues, document creation, and some client service responsibilities. Her passion for educating children is only trumped by her knack for all things celebrity and sports. Jenivieve started her own blog, Jen’s Juice, while attending school and quickly grew fond of searching for the most timely and fascinating celebrity/sports gossip stories from around the world. She then began to guest blog for other celebrity sites, and eventually forged a partnership with Right Celebrity where she is currently the Fashion Editor. Jenivieve plans to continue expanding her blogging career. She has now been with the Right Celebrity family for almost a year, and is excited to grow with the company. She currently writes for her own blog, Right Celebrity and its sister sites. Jenivieve makes her home outside of the Tampa, Florida area.

Patricia Elaine Perry was raised by teachers and has been writing since she was six years old. Along the journey from grade school playwright to grown up blogger, she studied and pursued visual art, music and writing at Oberlin College with equal enthusiasm but eventually settled into (mostly) writerly habits.

She has had all sorts of writing jobs but being that she was raised by teachers, she greatly enjoyed teaching in the creative writing program at her alma mater. She is the owner and publisher of Shallow Nation a blog which chronicles trends in pop culture and entertainment. She is thrilled with the daily opportunity to share her pop culture enthusiasm with Right Celebrity Network as well.

Niki Belucci Agarwal is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Practices from the University of Pune, India. She previously worked for an online marketing company and is passionate about writing. Writing about Indian movies and music began as a result of interest and she started contributing to the Right Celebrity family of blogs in November 2007 when she launched this exciting Bollywood entertainment blog.

She currently lives in Pune, Maharashtra.

Consuela Bryant has been a writer and contributor for Right Fielders since November 2007. She began blogging for Allie Is Wired in May 2007, but eventually made the switch to the “Right” family. Now she writes for Right Celebrity, Right Cinema, and Right Fielders.

Consuela graduated with a joint degree in Political Science and Economics from a small western liberal arts school. Realizing the relative unemployability of a liberal arts degree, she went to law school where she enjoyed volunteering her legal knowledge for various nonprofit organizations.

After graduation, Consuela worked as a nanny while she decided the direction her life would take. Deciding the big firm life was not for her, Consuela took a job at a local nonprofit. Her schedule allows her to write for the celebrity blog she loves so much and spend time with her family.

Consuela lives in a downtown apartment in Hollywood, Florida with her fiance. She hopes to be getting a dog soon.

Sarah Luoma graduated from an all girls private college in Boston, Massachusetts. By day she works at a large corporation as a purchasing manager and inventory analyst. By night Sarah is the gossip editor for RopeofSilicon.com.

Sarah has been working for the Right Celebrity family since March 2008. She’s very happy to work with such a great group of individuals! She currently writes for Right TV, Right Fielders and is working on the new music blog titled, Right Music!

Sarah resides in a small town in Massachusetts with her daughter.

Mila Wessler is currently pursuing a career in the music industry, and is in the process of making her self produced debut album. She is an optimist who usually can be found with her mind immersed in the arts. Mila was brought into the Right family in February of 2009. Commenting on her fresh blogging career she exclaimed “I was afforded the opportunity to write about subjects that intrigue me. How cool is that!”

Mila is thrilled to be a part of Right Celebrity and its sister sites, and is delighted to watch herself develop alongside the company. She currently resides in Sunny Tampa, Florida.

Danity Donnaly is a Midwestern mama with class, sass and a love for celebrity gossip. A little over a year ago Danity started Celebrity VIP Lounge.com as an outlet to dish out dirt on celebrities in a clever and witty fashion.

When the opportunity came to write for the Right Network, Danity chose music as her area of expertise. As a former disc jockey and a former hairbrush singer, Danity has the passion and drive to rock the web with her knowledge. Danity is a fierce dancer who enjoys pancakes and diet coke. However, when she’s not delivering the dish, Danity can be found on Twitter talking smack or shaking her bon bon to any jam by Justin Timberlake.
