Meet Leryn Franco, the hot model and javelin thrower on the Paraguay Olympics team. See her photos and biography here.
In the latest news, Leryn Franco catwalk pictures have been raging as she continues to pursue her modeling career.
In addition to competing in her second Olympics, Leryn is a catwalk model who says “Modeling is a way for me to continue with my sport, the hours are flexible, and you can earn good money through photographic modeling and the catwalk.”
Unfortunately she finished second to last in Beijing, but that does not stop anyone from gawking, which has put searches for Leryn Franco’s website in high demand again.
She was born March 1st 1982 in Asunción, Paraguay, which makes her a 26-year old model who probably commands a high price in her native land.
Her native city is the capitol of Paraguay so she is a city girl who is accustomed to glamor and attention. It is also one of the world’s most beautiful cities so we dream that Leryn is a complete romantic.
Ms. Franco was the runner-up in the Miss Paraguay beauty pageant in 2006 and competing in the Miss Bikini World competition that same year.
She is so attractive that Sports Illustrated did an article on her recently in which they concluded that beautiful athletes command higher-paying endorsement deals. Who knew?
Bob Deutsh of the magazine says “ultimately it does not get away from the fact that you have to be an athlete first and a beauty second. But when you have someone who is fantastic at both, then you are looking at a global brand.”
As an athlete, her best mark in the javelin is 55.38 meters, which will probably not put her in the running for medal contention. In 2004 she finished in 42nd place. However this is her second Olympics so she is a top world athlete. Beauty and brawn is an awesome combination.
