2008 Olympics Medal Count Standings (Beijing)

August 10, 2008

Here is the most recent Olympics medal count standings from the 2008 Beijing Olympics. You can find Team USA, Team China, and all of the winning gold, silver, and bronze medals by country below.

The first resource for 2008 medals winners and standings is the official Beijing Olympics site, however it is not always updated when you want because of the time difference.

NBC Sports has a version which is easier to follow for my money. You can see China and the USA at the top of the leaders as will be the case throughout the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Real Clear Sports has a different view which you may prefer. They show a cool map with hot, medium, and mild zones depending on how many medals each country has won. They graph the medal counts horizontally rather than vertically.

Not to be outdone, you can always use reliable Yahoo Sports as your source for Olympic medals, although that graphic looks an awful lot like the ABC version we saw earlier.

So there you have it. Pick your poison or your pleasure. You can also see a historic view of which countries have dominated the Olympics over the years.

And do not forget that our vote for gold, silver, and bronze medals is below.
