Meet Jasmin Ouschan, a professional billiard player from Austria. See photos, video and a biography of Jasmin below.

You can see Jasmin Ouschan on ESPN Saturday, as they will be airing the semi-final match between she and Ga Young Kim (she lost to Kim) at the Generationpool.com 9-Ball Championships. The event was held last month in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As a biography, Jasmin Ouschan was born on January 10, 1986 in Klagenfurt, Austria. She is 22 years old. She started playing pool at 3 years old. Her parents, Evelin and Albin, have owned a Billiard Club in her birthplace for over 20 years, so it was only natural that Jasmin took to the sport.

She started competing in pool tournaments as a child, and in 1996, at age 10, she competed in a tournament in which renowned players such as Allison Fisher, Franziska Stark and Gerda Hofstaetter also took part in. She finished fourth. She was soon competing in several other youth tournaments and has won several gold medals throughout her young career.

She turned WPBA (World Professional Billiard Association) Pro in 2007, and that year took 2nd place at the San Diego Classics and 3rd at the Enjoypool.com Open in Las Vegas.
