Inbee turned pro right after she graduated from high school in May of 2006. Some notable highlights of 2007 – she tied for 4th at the U.S. Women’s Open, winning $130,549 and tied for 2nd at the Safely Classic, winning $105,307.

In 2008, her highest placing previous to her win at the U.S. Women’s Open was back in April, when she tied for 3rd at the Corona Morelia Championship, winning $77,323. Inbee’s win today is a cool $585,000. Not a bad payday for a 19-year-old!
