Five Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders are back home on U.S. soil after having spent 12 days in Iraq entertaining the troops. The veteran cheerleaders – Laura Jenkins, Madeline Kane, Rachel Washburn, Kjersti Soberg and Nikki Bell performed a 45 minute show every night at different bases in Iraq and Kuwait. They called their stint overseas a “life changing experience“.

“Morale as a whole seems really high and they were really happy to see us, so we got a really good perspective of what life is like over there,” said cheerleader Rachel Washburn.

Rachel made an impression over there as well. The crowd went crazy when she announced that she was going to Airborne School. During the show, they did a physical fitness test where they had Rachel compete against an Airman, a Marine and a Soldier to see who could bust out the most push ups. Rachel threw down an impressive 52! The others tried, but the other cheerleaders sat on them and weighed them down. Heh heh.
