Meet Sarah Fisher, an IndyCar driver. See photos, video and a biography of Sarah below.

Sarah Fisher was knocked out of the Indy 500 in Lap 106, after Tony Kanaan (who was leading the race), spun out of Turn 3 and Fisher hit him hard, which forced both drivers out of the race. Neither Fisher or Kanaan were seriously hurt in the crash. It was a sad finish for Fisher, who until Thursday, had not even had a sponsor for the race. Text 4 Cars.com, which is an automobile resale site that gives consumers info on vehicles they’re interested in buying, agreed to sponsor Sarah’s car for the race. Everybody Loves Raymond actress Patricia Heaton, her husband, producer David Hunt, and their production company, Four Boys Film, have stepped up and announced that they will be sponsoring the Sarah Fisher Racing Team as well.

As a biography, Sarah Fisher was born on October 4, 1980 in Columbus Ohio. She is 27 years old. Sarah started racing go-karts and quarter midgets, and won the 1991, 1993 and 1994 World Karting Association Grand National Championships.

After Sarah’s successful season in the different midget car series, she decided to go the IRL route in 1999. In 2000, she drove for Walker Racing and in May became one of the youngest drivers to compete in the Indianapolis 500. Sarah was voted IRL’s Most Popular Driver in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Sarah also debuted in the NASCAR Grand National Division at Phoenix in 2004.
