Meet Jeong Jang, a South Korean golfer. See photos, video and a biography of Jeong below.
Jeong Jang shot a 3 under 69 today to tie Erica Blasberg for the lead at the Corning Classic.
“The front nine I start with the bogey and finish with bogey,” Jang said. “Back nine, I started with a birdie and then finished with a birdie.
“And I think with the finish with the birdie really, really get a feeling for tomorrow so just happy with that.”
She’s hoping it won’t be a repeat performance of two years ago at Corning, where she had the lead going into the final round but unfortunately ended with a 76 and four shots behind.
As a biography, Jeong Jang was born on June 11, 1980 in Daejeon, Korea. She is 27 years old. Jeong got her start in golf when she was 13 years old.
