Boston Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez made an incredible catch last night in Baltimore off of Kevin Millar, high fived a fan in the stands, and got a runner out at first. Check out the photos and video below.

Just an amazing play on Manny’s part – a running catch and then a high five to a Red Sox fan in the stands. Couldn’t have been more perfect. No doubt the clip will resurface at the end of the year when sportscasters alike relive the “Best Of 2008″.

Kevin Millar took the plate, and hit the ball in left center. It looked like Manny wouldn’t be able to catch it, but he booked it, reached out and caught the ball. After the catch, he high fived a Red Sox fan, then threw to Dustin Pedroia, who noticed that Aubrey Huff was trying to get back to first, and got him out.

“I thought I was not going to have any chance to throw the guy out at first, but I did it anyway,” Ramirez said. “I just got a bad jump, but I never give up. I go there and I caught it.”

You can see from the video that Manny and his teammates liked what they saw after watching his incredible feat play back in the dugout. Too bad they lost to the Orioles, 6-3.
