Kate Upton, who was recently revealed as Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Cover Girl, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which will air on Thursday, February 16. Once again, when asked about her boyfriend, New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, she was coy about their boyfriend/girlfriend status.
The rumors of Kate Upton and Mark Sanchez dating started months ago. But the two have never actually confirmed their romance. Okay, fine. We get how you want to keep your private life, well, private. Their “relationship” was in the news last month after gossip swirled that Kim Kardashian was seeing the Jets QB on the down low ’cause, you know, he was already seeing Kate. Alas, that was simply a rumor and no truth to it whatsoever. A source told US Weekly, “He is always at her apartment [and] has dropped off gifts and flowers for her . . . It isn’t serious.” Oh really? Why keep it so hush hush?
Anyways, leave it to Ellen DeGeneres to try and get the truth out of Kate.
Ellen: Your boyfriend, New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. How does he feel about this (the cover) ?
Kate: I did not have a Valentine’s date this year.
Ellen: Okay, so he was busy. So how does your boyfriend Mark Sanchez feel about all this? He must be proud, right?
Kate: Well, even if I had a boyfriend. I wouldn’t ask how he felt about it.
Ellen: You wouldn’t ask?
Ellen: He would just tell you though. Has he told you? Your boyfriend Mark Sanchez? I’m just guessing that it’s him. Is it him?
Kate: Do you want it to be him?
Ellen: He’s cute. Don’t you think he’s cute?
Kate: Yeah, he is cute.
Ellen: Have you met him before?
Kate: I met him. My sister works for the Jets. She’s been working there for four years. So I went to all the games.
Ellen: So now you’re dating him?
Kate: I met him briefly…
Ellen: How long have you all been dating?
Kate: I don’t know what you’re talking about…
Ellen: She’s dating Mark Sanchez…
Kate certainly did a good job of revealing NOTHING. Heh heh. You can see a video clip of her visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show below.
