ESPN Body Issue 2011: Hope Solo, Gretchen Bleiler, Alicia Sacramone & More Bare All!

October 5, 2011

Yes, the ESPN Body Issue 2011 will be available on newsstands Friday. United States women’s national soccer team and Magicjack’s amazing goalkeeper Hope Solo is a contestant on Dancing With The Stars, she also happens to be one of the many male and females athletes that have stripped off their clothes for 2011’s ESPN Body Issue.

30 year-old Hope Solo once talked about the possibility of posing in her birthday suit if you know what I mean, at first we thought she was about to knock on Hugh Hefner’s mansion doors but we were wrong, gladly. I mean don’t get me wrong, I have absolutely nothing against a playmate but an athlete is an athlete and Hope herself has already made that statement. So there was only one way she was going to bare all for a magazine photoshoot, and the lucky fellas were ESPN and their Body Issue.

The 2011 ESPN Body Issue is unveiling over 20 athletes showing off their toned, muscular bodies, some of the females athletes this year are tennis player Vera Zvonavera, bowler Kelly Kulick, track and field star Natasha Hastings, WNBA player Sylvia Fowles, LPGA’s Belen Mozo, hockey player Julie Chu, gymnast Alicia Sacramone, surfer Stephanie Gilmore, derby skater Suzy Hotrod, snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler and of course, Hope.

Hope said she was honored to celebrate not only the athlete body but the female body, she added that she doesn’t consider herself a hot vixen that is in every guy’s fantasies whatsoever but an athlete, but if that symbol is now a hot female athlete then that is pretty amazing.

I knew Hope’s body was awesome, but I had no idea it was this beautiful! Her abs, legs, arms OMG I am so jealous she is incredible. No offense to the other female athletes, they are pretty gorgeous too. Great job girls and great pics this year once again in ESPN’s Body Issue 2011.
