Dennis Rodman has been honored recently as he was inducted into the NBA Hall Of Fame, as expected he was dressed in his own peculiar and original way, but what we weren’t expecting at all was watching Dennis get all emotional when he gave his acceptance speech. You guys this is a very cool video and we want to share it with you, have a look!!
Dennis Rodman became NBA’s bad boy with his eccentric outfits and hair styles, he always gave the media a lot to talk about and let’s face it he loved every second of it. Denis became a Hall of Fame inductee Friday, certainly it wasn’t because of his flamboyant sense of style but because of all the great moments he brought onto the basketball court and he couldn’t be more thrilled about that.
50 year-old Dennis Rodman (I know he is 50!!!! really??) from Jersey was the 27th overall pick during the second round of the 1988 NBA Draft when he was selected by the Detroit Pistons. He left in 1993 when he joined the San Antonio Spurs and then later played with the Bulls. In 1999 he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers and the following year he moved to the Dallas Mavericks.
From 2003 to 2005 he moved to the American Basketball Association’s teams, the Long Beach Jam, Orange County Crush and the Tijuana Dragons. By the end of 2005 he moved overseas and traveled to Finland where he signed with Torpan Pojat moving to the Brighton Bears in the UK the following year.
We heard about Rodman getting inducted in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this April, when the day came he prepared with his best wardrobe Rodman speaking, a feathered scarf on his collarbone with another red one over his black jacket, above it with Detroit’s and Bulls names on the back and his number 10 and 91 on his sleeves all in glitter. He walked the aisle with his two children who then waited in the first row holding some of their fathers’ clothing.
Phil Jackson was on stage waiting for him and then it was time for the emotional speech which you might have heard in the video below, have a look!!
