Ben Roethlisberger

There were over 600 guests in attendance at the nuptials of Ashley Harlan & Ben Roethlisberger. Wedding photos have been released and I must say, the bride looked absolutely gorgeous! Loved her wedding dress, how about you? In case you’re wondering, the dress is a Monique Lhuillier creation. Gorgeous! You can check out some of the pictures over at Big Ben is one lucky guy, that’s for sure.

Their ceremony was held at Christ Church at Grove Farm, where the two are members, and police and security could be seen on the road leading up to the church. Limousines, Mercedes and the like could be seen arriving at the church around 2:30, with the ceremony taking place at 3:00 PM. The bridal party consisted of 21 people in all, with the bridesmaids wearing Jim Hjelm dresses in slate gray, according to the Post Gazette.

The reception was held at David L. Lawrence Convention Center, and 600 guests (including several of Roethlisberger’s teammates and former wrestler Triple H) filed into The Spirit of America Ballroom for what was no doubt an evening to remember. And what were the guests feasting on? Filet and halibut, according to Sheila Weiner, the couple’s wedding planner. No expense was spared for this gorgeous event.

Ben’s wife Ashley is a physician’s assistant who hails from New Castle, Pennsylvania. It’s unclear when the two started dating, but the Steelers QB popped the question late last year over the holidays.

With Ben now married, will this help his tarnished image? Just a year and a half ago he was accused of rape. Let’s hope that this marriage truly has a happily ever after. What do you think, readers? Leave me your thoughts in the comments section below.
