A very emotional Cadel received his plush lion and flowers, Evans gave credit to his win to his dear friend, mentor and trainer Aldo Sassi who died last December and certainly his beautiful Italian wife Chiara Passerini, a stunning gospel choir teacher at the Italian academy, amazing pianist and blogger. Oh yes that’s right, Chiara’s corner where she shares the most awesome and fascinating moments of their lives with her readers. Chiara and Cadel met in 2002 and got married in September 2007. 28 year-old Chiara was born on the island of Elba on the Tuscan Coast but ever since she met Cadel she became a constant presence in his career and we just love to see her and Molly, her cute dog. She tweeted about her hubby’s progress and thanked every one of her golden boy’s fans, the day she tweeted she was going to stay out of twitter because she was just too nervous. After her hubby’s win she was equally emotional but so proud, she is just so nice, check her out below.

Congrats to Cadel, the 2011 Tour De France Winner the first Aussie to win the tour, to his lovely wife Chiara, their cute dog Molly, friends, family and fans!!!!
