Last week we learned that Tiger Woods and his longtime caddie of 13 years had split. Woods parted ways with the Aussie and now it looks as if Williams will be writing an autobiography. Will he tell all?
It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost two years since news broke of the Tiger Woods scandal, and one person who stood by him through it all was his caddie and good friend, Steve Williams. In their 13 years together they certainly had their ups and downs, but none would test their friendship as much as the aftermath of Woods’ sex scandal that rocked the golf world. What will the book have to say about Tiger?
“You know, when I write my book, it’ll be the time I decide what I write,” Williams said. “It’ll just be one of those interesting chapters in the book.”
Williams has maintained that he knew nothing of Woods’ behavior off the golf course and now is planning an autobiography. Hmmm. So if that’s the case, it may be a bit of a snoozer, eh? Or maybe he does know something? Allegedly?
Williams did not leave Tiger during the scandal, even at the alleged urging of his wife Kirsty, who is close friends with Tiger’s ex, Elin. Oh, and I’m so happy that Elin has found herself a new man, aren’t you? Okay, sorry, getting of course here, heh heh. Williams was let go earlier this month, at the AT&T National. He was on the bag for fellow Aussie Adam Scott. Oh, but Williams failed to ask Tiger’s permission to do so. Tiger was none too happy with that news and that is what allegedly led to Williams’ firing. Williams did caddie for Scott during the U.S. Open, but he did ask Tiger first if it was okay and Tiger agreed.
Eh, so now Williams will write a book. Will you buy it?
