Chad Muska is a legend among skaters, his unique name was featured on footwear, he later became a famous musician but now Chad took a unfortunate turn and got himself arrested for felony vandalism. TMZ has provided the arrest video and you can watch that after the jump.
Chad Muska not only just got arrested but managed to pull a racist rant in the process, it all happened when security guards at the Roosevelt Hotel saw him writing his name with spray paint around 2:00 a.m. Backup from LAPD was requested to make the arrest but while they waited for them to arrive Muska started to yell to the security guards….
‘n*^*s repeatedly followed by “Fu** all these ni**as right here.”
LAPD arrived and booked him for felony vandalism. His artwork was seen at a Coffee Bean on a glass door at the El Captain theater where he wrote “Muska Kills”.
Looking back at the life ad career of this legend we can tell you that the 34 year-old from Ohio became a well known name after his role in the skate classic 1998 video Shorty’s Fulfill the Dream. His shoes are also a legend among skateboarders, who can’t forget the éS Muska? I know love those!!!!
Muska’s former sponsors include Circa, TSA Clothing, Toy Machine, Shorty’s Skateboards, Diakka, Fury, Watches, Ghetto Child Wheels, Maple and Etnies. Currently his sponsors are Element Skateboards, KR3W and Supra Footwear.
As a musician Muska became an electronic music junkie, he released Muskabeatz in 2002 with special collaborations by McLyte, Biz Markie, Raekwon, U-God, Flavor FlavMelle Mel, Guru, KRS-One, Jeru ,Ice-T, Afrika Bambaataa, Special Ed and Prodigy under his label 1212 Records, which he created with SuperDave Roen whom he met on 1999.
Muska might be also known for his character in Tony Hawk’s video game, besides 1212 he also co-owns the Factory 413 store with Supra which reminds me, in that site there is also a photo of Muska with a can of paint in his hand and he is standing next to graffiti that says ‘Muska kills 2010 LA x NYC’. Maybe he was not really vandalizing a building but advertising???
