The 2011 Kentucky Derby is here and we don’t want you to miss a thing so the best way to get you started on this spectacular race is by telling you all about the contenders, the jockeys, owners and certainly the odds, so check those out!

Kentucky Derby 1 2

Last year at the 136th Kentucky Derby the great winner was Super Saver ridden by Calvin Borel, they defeated second place Ice Box ridden by Jose Lezcano by 2 1/2 lengths on a very muddy track on May 1st, 2010. Super Saver was a favorite at Preakness Stakes but sadly he finished 8th, He won’t be competing in 2011 so who is the favorite then? I heard something about Uncle Mo, who is making his debut at Gulfstream Park. What do you think? I think they might be right Mo is coming from winning the Tampa Bay Derby in March and he did it with style, but I won’t keep talking, see below to find out who are the 137 Kentucky Derby Contenders and Odds.
