Diane’s husband is the British 33 year old golfer who went to The Royal Grammar School High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, England and then went to Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Before he turned pro in 2001 he was awarded with the Haskins Award in 1999. After that he was the champion at the 2002 Southern Farm Bureau Classic, 2004 Scandinavian Masters and Omega European classics, 2005 Target World Challenge, 2006 Honda Classic, 2007 Gary Player Invitational, 2010 Madrid Masters. So what’s up with his personal life and that gorgeous wife of his?
So Mrs. Donald used to be known as Diane Antonopoulos, a Greek descendant who resided in Illinois where her soon to be hubby happened to be studying while at college. When they met each other they fell madly in love with each other, he popped the big question in June of 2006, certainly Diane said Yes!!!! And so a year after they got married on June 24, at her family’s native Santorini, Greece. You can see Diane Donald’s pictures here and also here.
In 2009 they announced they were expecting their first child together, and the surprising news was revealed when her hubby withdrew from the Honda Tournament last year. Apparently Mrs. Donald suffered from Pre-eclampsia and minor complications put her into early labor (one month early) and became the caring mommy of their baby girl Elle Georgina Donald, who was born on February 25. She weighed 5 pounds, 1 ounce. Check out Diane’s photos here.
