Kym Howe is a Hot Australian Pole Vaulting to the Olympics

April 2, 2008

Kym Howe is the record breaking queen of pole vault for Australia and will represent Australia in the Beijing Olympics. See biography and photos below.

Kym Howe still has to pass her final fitness test to be officially on the Australian Olympic pole vault team, but there is little doubt that will happen. She is hot in more than one way. She’s not hard to look at and she definitely burns up the field as an athlete. The sleek, muscular, strawberry blond holds the Australian record in the women’s pole vault. She was the gold medalist at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games.

Kym Howe was born on June 12, 1980 in Perth, Australia. Even as a child she showed exceptional athletic ability. It was said of her:

“To see her as a kid playing around and then to see her train – you just knew she was going to be a great athlete.?

Between 1993 and 1996 she participated on an Australian gymnastics team. She was drawn to track and field by watching her athletics hero Gail Devers and it seems to have been a good fit for her.

Kym married Aaron Nadin, also of Perth Australia, in 2004. They couple has a pet golden cocker spaniel named Holly. Kym loves children and spending time on the beach. She studied childcare at the Mount Lawley TAFE campus prior to starting work at a child care center for children up to five years of age. She has taken a leave of absence from her job in order to concentrate on training for the Olympics.
