If you live near Arlington or Dallas you may have a tougher time forgetting the game, but you can still avoid it. There will be plenty of other interesting things on television or maybe this is a time to try something you haven’t done before!

Here are some top things to do on Super Bowl Sunday, that is if you don’t watch the game. Take a trip to the grocery stores or any other shop, as they will be pretty dead. You could also go to the gym and workout or take a quiet walk around town. Or hey, why not get a relaxing massage or go to a quiet movie theater while everyone else loses themselves in the game?

What if you don’t feel like leaving the house? There are still plenty of things you can do! Believe it or not, the other channels do still run programming during the football game. So if you aren’t interested in the Packers, Steelers, ads or performers, then it is a great day to catch some other shows or movies.

If you have missed any episodes of your favorite shows, it likely that you could find a marathon. MTV will be replaying episodes of “Jersey Shore” and TNT & USA will be doing “Law & Order” marathons. Also, for you chick-flick lovers, TBS will be playing some classic movies including “Pretty Woman” and “The Holiday.” Also the 7th annual Puppy Bowl will air on Animal Planet at 3:00 EST. You could also head to the video store and rent something you have never seen! Get more details on alternative things to watch here.

I hope I have helped you with some ideas of what to do if you don’t watch the game.
