Mikhail Youzhny is a Russian tennis player who went crazy today and threw a bloody tantrum at the Sony Ericsson Open. You can see his biography, photos, and unbelievable video below.

Mikhail Youzhny was trailing 5-4 against Nicolas Almagro in the third set when he hit a backhand into the net and then basically lost his mind. He started wacking himself in the head until finally a stream of blood was coming down his face. He went on to win a third-set tiebreaker after the incident, but lost in the next round. Check out the video below.

Mikhail Youzhny was born June 25, 1982 in Moscow, which makes his age 25. His measurements are 6′ 0″ and he weighs 160 pounds. Mikhail turned pro in 1999 and took four titles that year on the Futures tour. Youzhny has consistently made it to the third and fourth rounds in major tournaments, including Wimbledon, but can’t seem to get the big one. Although, Mikhail did help Russia win the Davis Cup in 2002. In his match he was down 0-2 and came all the way back to win the fifth set. That was the first time a comeback from such a deficit had ever occurred.

Mikhail’s career high is #8, which he achieved on January 28, 2008. He is currently at #11. Youzhny’s tennis career has been very successful thus far. He has a career winning total of $4,565,757 and endorsements from Adidas and Head. You can see more pictures and the self-masochistic video below.
