Meet Nancy LeBeau, does her last name sound a little familiar? That is because she is Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau’s wife. Would you like to know more about this fabulous Sports WAG? Then you better check out the rest of this story and don’t forget to leave your amazing comments about her.
We all know who is Nancy LeBeau’s husband, but just in case let me tell you just a little bit about this amazing 73 year old defensive coordinator from London, Ohio. As a teenage boy he played on his London High School’s football team until he graduated and attended Ohio State University also known as OSU. The NFL took notice of him, becoming an NFL draft pick in 1957 by the Cleveland Browns and later by the Detroit Lions. His impressive career as a defensive coordinator started in 1973 with the Philadelphia Eagles as a Special Teams Coach, then came the Packers where he became their defensive backfield coach and so he was for the Cincinnati Bengals and for the Steelers in 1992. He left and arrived with the Bengals once again but this time as their defensive coordinator, just to return to Pittsburgh in 1997. In 2002, Cincinnati named him their head coach, assistant head coach to the Lions three years later and finally defensive coordinator for the Steelers in 2004 where he has remained until this day.
So now that we know already about him let’s see what can we learn about his lovely wife Nancy? Sadly and unfortunately Mrs. LeBeau likes to keep her life private and finding information about her is like finding water in the Sahara desert, but this is what we found so far. Nancy is an artist whose expertise are animal portraits. She is the Steelers defensive coordinator’s second wife (his first wife Phyllis passed away). They got married in 1973, they have one son, Brandon Lebeau from Montgomery, Ohio.
Like her famous husband Dick LeBeau, Nancy is very dear and respected in the NFL and certainly among the Steelers’ community, can you tell us a little bit more about her? Share your thoughts and additional information on the comments box below.
