This year’s Super Bowl commercials, just like any other year, are highly expensive from $2.5 million to $3M for a 30 second ad, even so they are wanted by the biggest brands in the world. Ever since last June we heard that about 80% of the ads have already been sold during the big game. Movie trailers are also expected, like Kung Fu Panda 2 and Transformers 3, Captain America, Pirates of the Caribbean and Cowboys and Aliens.
The biggest brands to appear during Super Bowl XLV are BMW, Audi, Kia, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Chrysler, Ford, Mercedez-Benz, Bridgestone, Careerbuilder, PepsiCo’s Doritos, Sony, Groupon, Pizza Hut, Cars.com, PepsiCo’s PepsiMax, Pizza Hut, Coca-Cola, Skechers featuring Kim Kardashian, E-trade, Teleflora with Faith Hill, General Motors, GoDaddy.com, Mars, Anheuser-Busch, HomeAway Inc., Best Buy with Ozzy Osborne and Justin Bieber and E-Trade. Let’s see exactly how we can expect these Super Bowl commercials to be broadcast:
Starting with the Pregame, you can expect to see:
Groupon, Kung Fu Panda 2 film trailer, Pizza Hut, Sony Pictures, E-Trade and Ford, following that during the first quarter Audi, Kia; second quarter Teflora, Volkswagen, Carmax and GoDaddy will reveal their new .CO girl.
After the Halftime special performance by The Black Eyed Peas, the third quarter starts with Best Buy, HomeAway, Snickers, Cars.com and CareerBuilder; during the fourth quarter you’ll see GoDaddy (Danica Patrick and Jillian Michaels), Mercedes Benz and Skechers (Kim Kardashian). Finally during the post game sponsored by Chevrolet you will see that new episode of Glee and the award to the 2011 Most Valuable Player (MVP) with a brand new 2011 Camaro, certainly it’s a convertible.
The one commercial that is still unknown or saved as a surprise are Eminem for Brisk Lipton, Coca-Cola, Doritos, Bud Light, Budweiser, Hyundai and Pepsi, and of course we have to mention the other commercials that have been rejected from airing during the SB – Ashley Madison, Jesus Hates Obama, John 3:16 and PETA which you can see here.
