Janet Jones is a sexy beautiful American actress, dancer and aerobics instructor, but she’s best known as the wife of the star of ice hockey, Wayne Gretzky. See biography, photos and a video below.
When you look at these photos of Janet Jones, its not to hard to figure out why her famous husband is so crazy about her. I’m betting he likes it when she dresses up in his ice hockey paraphernalia (see above). Who wouldn’t? This lovely lady has been Wayne Gretzky’s wife and mother of his children since 1988.
Janet’s interests are kickboxing, weight training, rock wall climbing. Her favorite charity is Mobility Opportunities Via Education (M.O.V.E.) for disabled children.
Janet Marie Jones was born in Bridgeton, Missouri on January 10, 1961. She has a pretty impressive portfolio from her acting and dancing career. Among other projects, she was a dancer in Annie (1982) and Staying Alive (1983). She has had acting parts in The Flamingo Kid (1984), American Anthem (1987) and A League of Their Own (1992) among a number of others.
Janet was engaged to tennis star Vitas Gerulaitis for three years. He broke off the engagement and later died of carbon monoxide poisoning. She’s also dated actors Bruce Willis and Nels Van Patten (son of Dick Van Patten). She met Wayne Gretzky in 1984 when he was a judge on Dance Fever and she was one of the dancers. Things didn’t heat up between them until they met again in 1987 at an Los Angeles Lakers game. According to what Gretzky told the world on the Howard Stern radio show, they consummated their relationship that night. Heh! Apparently, that was it for them because they were married on July 17, 1988. Their wedding was spectacular and was dubbed ‘The Royal Wedding’ by the press. It was broadcast live across Canada.
Their first daughter, Paulina, was born a few months later. The Gretzkys have five children. In addition to Paulina they have Ty, Trevor, Tristan and Emma.
