Less than a month ago we heard the news about Gillette ending their endorsement with Tiger Woods, adding their brand to the many other important sponsors that have finalized their business relationships with Woods.

Are all of these important names cutting him off because of his personal scandal? In part yes they are, since people’s response towards the golfer or anything related to him has been brutal, for example this was the reason Electronic Arts gave for taking Tiger off his own video game Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters that will be released this March for XBox 360, PSP3 and Wii, his place on the cover of the game will be taken by the Yellow Flag of the Augusta National Golf Club, apparently their sales went down over a 60% since 2009. Check that out here.

Now Golf Digest will be taking Tiger Woods off their cover, the Magazine has been along side him for 13 years but when they couldn’t settle down to an agreement about how much of his time he would devote to them, they decided it was time to end their relationship amicably.

“The reality is his deal was up at the end of the year, because we’re living in this digital world, they needed more time from him. He wasn’t ready to commit to any additional time at this point with everything going on – trying to work on his swing and other things.” said Mark Steinberg, his agent at IMG.

Golf Digest and Tiger thanked each other and wished themselves the best.

“We appreciate the insights Tiger has provided to our readers,” Golf Digest Source said.

“I enjoyed my relationship with Golf Digest, but we have decided it’s now time for a break. I wish my friends at Golf Digest continued success.” Tiger said.

As for the future in golf for Tiger is unknown, it all depends on his will to reach the level of awesomeness he once showed on the golf course, the same awesomeness that once labeled him as the best Golfer in the world, question is will he be able to conquer the kingdom that belonged to him one day? It might sound a little dramatic, but it sure is, he was a phenomenal golfer, he has the talent, the skills when will he shine again? I wish I knew..
