As this year winds down, we take a look at some of the famous people we have lost this year. We would like to pay tribute to the October and November obituaries, 2010. Keep reading below for more on this story, with pictures and video too.
The man in the photo, Leslie Nielsen, is one of the most recent celebrities that have passed away. However, there are several stars that have died in the last couple of months who won’t be able to celebrate the holidays. Let’s honor their memory!
Leslie Nielsen was age 84 at the time of his death, which was due to complications from pneumonia. After being in a Florida hospital for almost two weeks, he apparently passed while in his sleep on November 28th. You probably know him best from ‘The Naked Gun,’ though he was in other classics such as ‘Police Squad’ and ‘Airplane!’ We wish his family the best during this tough time.
In one of the more bizarre October and November obituaries of 2010, Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen was killed on November 16th. The incident is still under investigation, however it looks like someone may have attempted to murder her by gunshot. She then ran into a poll and died about an hour later. Another notable was the announcer for 28 years of ‘Wheel of Fortune.’ Charlie O’Donnell died at age 78 apparently of natural causes on November 1st. He had quite a life apart from the show and you can read more about this legendary man here.
Though these were all last month, in October we lost some other icons as well. James MacArthur from ‘Hawaii 5-0′ died on the 28th at age 72. On the 16th we also said goodbye to Barbara Billingsley (age 94) who played June Cleaver on ‘Leave it to Beaver.’
Though it is never nice to see people pass away, we can honor them by remembering their lives. Which was the most meaningful of the October and November obituaries 2010? Check out these photos and video and then leave your comments and well wishes below!
