A must see first thing on Turkey Day in my household, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade 2010 will be an exciting one! Find out who is on the parade list, plus photos and videos below!

While I look forward to some football on Turkey Day, I must first partake in watching one of my favorites, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. 2010’s spectacle will feature some new balloons this year. Of course, the celebs will be out in full force as well.

Okay, let’s get the particulars out of the way. When does the parade begin? 9:00 AM EST. You can watch it on NBC, with live coverage running until 12:00 PM EST. Don’t turn that TV off after the parade, because immediately following – it’s football, baby! Patriots vs the Lions at 12:30 PM ET on CBS, Saints vs the Cowboys at 4:15 PM ET on Fox and finally, the Bengals vs the Jets at 8:20 PM ET on NFLN.

First, let’s talk balloons! Some new ones this year – Diary of a Wimpy Kid (Greg Heffley), Kung Fu Panda and the Kool-Aid Man will debut as a Balloonicle (a combination balloon/vehicle). The regular giant balloons making its way down the parade route and some faves – the Pillsbury Doughboy, Shrek, SpongeBob SquarePants, Kermit the Frog and Buzz Lightyear.

Who are some of the celebs that will be making an appearance this year? Some notables include Jessica Simpson , Gladys Knight, Kylie Minogue, Mannheim Steamroller, Victoria Justice, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots and…..Kanye West.

Several marching bands from across the U.S. (and Guatemala!) are scheduled to perform and of course the appearance of over 25 floats! I would one day love to see the Parade in person, but I’m not a cold weather gal, and I’d rather watch it sipping a nice cup of coffee with my PJ’s on.

Will you be watching the parade? 2010’s Macy’s parade lineup can be found here. Have a GREAT Thanksgiving everyone!

Update: This was a really great parade that I just loved! Watch the video below of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade 2010.
