Meet Charlene Wittstock, a former South African Olympic swimmer and girlfriend of Prince Albert of Monaco. See her photos and biography below.
It has been announced in the latest issue of Point de Vue magazine that Charlene Wittstock will marry Prince Albert of Monaco by the end of the summer, possibly in September. Reports have surfaced, though, they have not actually set a wedding date, according to her mother. They have reportedly been together since 2006, when they were spotted at the opening ceremony of the 2006 Winter Olympics and then again at the 2006 Monaco Grand Prix.

As a biography, Charlene was born on January 25, 1978 in Benoni, South Africa. Charlene competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics and was part ofthe Women’s 4x100m Medley team from South Africa. She is the South African 50m women’s backstroke champion, after finishing third at the Telkom SA National Aquatic Championships on April 13, 2007.
