Raquel actually has a long name Raquel-Ann Sarah â€śRoxieâ€ť Nurse. Due to this people have come to just know her as Raquel Nurse or by the name she has been using for almost 7 years Raquel McNabb. So letâ€™s dig a little bit more and find more interesting details about the Stunning Mrs. McNabb.
Raquel Nurse was born in Hamilton in Ontario, Canada 34 years ago to Arlie and Marjorie Nurse. She went to Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York where she met the man who one day would be her husband.
Raquel got onto the basketball team, she was a powerful point guard with The Syracuse Orange, she was named MVP twice, Athlete of the Year (1997) and made it into the Big East Academic All-Star Team not just once but three times. She earned recognition and is considered one of best players ever since she got into Syracuse in 1995. Raquel graduated with a degree in Physical Education in 1998.
She later became assistant director at Villanova University where she gave not just academic support to the students, but support, advice, and her unconditional love to them. It was because of all this that she was also awarded at the university.
In June 2003, at the Valley Kingdom Ministries International in Oak Valle, Illinois, Raquel got married to her long time college sweetheart surrounded by their families, friends and teammates who afterwards joined the newlyweds at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Chicago. They spent their honeymoon at the beautiful Dominican Republic.
Raquel became a mother on September 23, 2004 when her daughter Alexis was born, their beautiful twins Donovan Jr. and Sariah were born on December 2, 2008 and Devin James their fourth was born on November 20, 2009. You can check out a picture of the twins here and little Alexis is here.
Raquel McNabb and her hubby are involved in many charities plus they have also helped raising funds and donated their own to many hospitals that until they came along didn’t have the appropriate equipment and space for their patients. In their honor one hospital named their neonatal unit The McNabb Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
