It is said that Gordon, 39, and wife Ingrid Vandebosch, 39, celebrated the birth of their second child, a baby boy! The couple welcomed their future lil racer yesterday, August 9th, 2010. Jeff made the announcement to his fans of their newest addition on his website. How exciting!
Welcome baby boy Leo Benjamin Gordon! According to the Nascar racer’s announcement, Baby Gordy was born in New York at 8:53 am, weighing seven pounds two ounces and measured nineteen inches long. Proud papa decorated his JeffGordon.com website with a rattle and a blue car, how delightful! The couple have been awaiting the arrival of little Leo since they announced they were expecting in February.
In a statement, Jeff says:
“He’s happy and healthy, and Mom is doing great.”
Leo’s big sister has got to be ecstatic! Their little bundle joins big sister Ella Sofia, 3, who I’m sure will be of great help!
But the race must go on! Gordon will race this week at Michigan International Speedway in the Nascar Sprint Cup Series so much luck!
The racer and model Vandebosch married in a private setting in Mexico in November 7, 2006.
