July 20, 2010

After a successful event last year, there was a lot of hype for Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kabbalah. The Hamptons seem to be an open atmosphere for this type of thinking, and it seemed to be a hit. Continue below for more, including more photos and a video.

The spiritual ideas themselves are a variation of the traditional Jewish beliefs, and she started practicing about 3 years ago with fellow follower Madonna. They had a big gathering last year, but this year the 37 year old actress co-hosted the event featuring Eitan Yardeni.

Many big names attended both parties and listened and asked all kinds of questions about the mystical beliefs. It was a very welcoming atmosphere at Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kabbalah. Hampton’s residents and others were able to take in the thoughts as the believers wanted to simply give people the opportunity to experience their religion.

“The party was all about bringing kabbalah to the Hamptons. They plan to start some classes. Gwyneth told guests how Eitan and Sarah have helped her through difficult personal times.”

In a note of welcome the co-hostess herself said:

“I’ve been studying Kabbalah for three years and I hope Eitan and Sarah inspire you like they inspire me. Kabbalah has helped me in my career. It’s helped me in my relationships. It’s helped me in my parenting.”

The actress and her husband Chris Martin, live in England, but specifically went to this area to spread her ideas. The speaker agreed with her choice and said:

“People living in the city are not as available emotionally, mentally or spiritually to listen to something,” Mr. Yardeni said the other day. “But in the Hamptons, they’re psychologically more relaxed and more open to begin the path. People will be able to follow through if they’re interested. That’s the purpose.”

Other than becoming spiritual, she does seem to be more open to new things. Her and her hubby may try to have another baby and she has been trying to learn guitar from her band member beau. Whatever your thoughts on her actions, she seems to be doing well and is happy.

What do you think of the trend hitting that area and Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kabbalah in Hampton? Let me know your thoughts below after you check out these photos and video.

What a snob. Any philosophy that lends itself to such a cliquish attitude doesn’t speak well of the practitioners.

Is this Kabballah? A philosophy for snobs?

Sounds like Mr. Yardeni has struck it rich in the hamptons. These people have bought into the tonic he is selling off the back of his covered wagon. Too much time and and money on their hands.
