Meet Krista Voda, the NASCAR pit reporter for the FOX network. See photos, video and a biography of Krista below.
As a biography, Krista was born in Clinton, Iowa. In high school, she was active in volleyball, basketball and track and field – all of which she lettered in.
Krista graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media and Communications. Before her NASCAR pit reporting duties, Krista was the weekend sports anchor at WLEX in Lexington, Kentucky. She covered everything from college bowl games, NCAA tournaments, World Series playoffs and the Kentucky Derby. It wasn’t till a former co-worker of hers called her up and told her that there was a job opening in Charlotte, North Carolina as a reporter for Totally NASCAR. She began working behind the desk and would later host the program. She has also worked for the Speed Channel as well.
Krista was the pit reporter for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2006 and later was the pit reporter for the AMA Supercross Series. She has an extensive resume of pit reporting.
Krista has also been a sideline reporter for Fox Sports Net for ACC basketball and has also covered the Cotton Bowl.
