One of this world’s favorite teams to win the World Cup is without a doubt the five time champion Brazil, with Kaka, Robinho, and Internazinale’s goalkeeper Julio Cesar among the best players in the world. But Ivory Coast also has Didier Drogba, who even with an injured elbow will try to take the victory home after the draw they got against Portugal.

Here are the players:

Brazil Ivory Coast
1 Julio Cesar 1 Boubacar Barry
2 Maicon 4 Toure Kolo
3 Lucio 5 Didier Zokora
4 Juan 8 Salomon Kalou
5 Felipe Melo 9 Cheick Tiote
6 Miguel  Bastos 11 Didier Drogba
7 Elano 15 Aruna Dindane
8 G Silva 17 Siaka Tiene
9 Luis Fabiano 19 Toure Yaya
10 Kaka 20  Guy Demel
11 Robinho 21 Emmanuel Eboue
Coach: Dunga Coach: Sven Goran Eriksson

In Brazil’s last match they defeated North Korea, but it wasn’t the quality of soccer that we expected from them. In the first quarter it seemed that this game was going to be like their last, but Fabiano had a different ending in his mind.

Luis Fabiano opened the score with Brazil’s first goal after a pass from Kaka that went beautifully  inside on the 25th minute mark and once again on the second quarter at the 50th minute mark. Brazil hunger for goals was not over, and on the 62nd minute mark again by a pass from Kaka to Elano they scored their third goal.

This is Elano’s first goal, but sadly he had to leave the field after he hurt his shin. Dani Alvez was sent in to replace him. But Ivory Coast was not going to settle with that score and on the 79 minute mark with a game between Yaya Toure and to Drogba’s head into the goal zone.

Kaka left the field after he got his second yellow card after for apparently accidentally elbowing Kader Keita. The card earned him a red card and kept him out of their next game against Portugal. The match ended after 4  minutes in the injury time with the final score Brazil 3 Ivory Coast 1 from Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. Their next match will be on June 25th against Portugal and Ivory Coast will face north Korea. Take a look at these photos and video below.
