Uruguay was the first country that won the World Cup back in 1930 where they were also the host. They won it again in the 1950 World Cup in Brazil. Now 60 years later they want to taste the World Cup title again, but can they make it?

It is a great possibility for Uruguay, who had some awesome players like 23 years old Luis Suarez, who currently plays with Ajax. In 38 games he has scored 36 goals. His brother Paolo is also a soccer player. He plays for El Salvador.

And Diego Forlan, the 31 year old has top records with his former teams Manchester and Villareal and on his current team Atletico Madrid, where he is top striker.

Here are the players of both teams:

In South Africa’s first match they had a draw with Mexico. It would be the third time in World Cup history that a host ended in a draw. Being the host is a dream, but is this dream getting away from them?

The dream is winning today‚Äôs match against Uruguay from Lofus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa  and who was the responsible for taking that dream? Diego Forlan was the fab striker who scored twice. His first goal was in the 23rd minute and once again on the 79th minute after he took a penalty kick after Khune tackled Luis Suarez. The referee marked the penalty and gave Khune a red card.

Uruguay was also the one who closed the score board by scoring their third goal by Alvaro Pereira on the injury time (+5). The Match ended Uruguay 3, South Africa 0.

Their next game will be June 22nd, where Uruguay will play Mexico and South Africa will play France.
