Meet Krissie Newman, the wife of NASCAR driver Ryan Newman. See her photos and biography below.
Krissie’s husband, Ryan Newman, won the Daytona 500 today for a come from behind win, thanks to a push from teammate Kurt Busch. His win snapped an 81 race winless streak. His last win was in September 2005 at New Hampshire.
As a biography, Krissie was born in Trenton, New Jersey and attended Shippensburg University. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She was on her way to obtaining a law degree when she met NASCAR driver Ryan Newman. They married in 2004 and she travels with her husband to all the NASCAR races.
In January of 2005, Krissie and Ryan founded the Ryan Newman Foundation. Their mission is to educate people to spay/neuter their pets and to adopt pets from animal shelters. Additionally, they help nonprofit organizations in preservation and conservation of wildlife, and provide scholarships for students who wish to pursue a degree while racing in quarter midget, midget and Silver Crown auto racing.
