Most people can’t wait to see the teams from Brazil, Argentina, Italy, England, Germany and a few more that are considered the most powerful to take the field, they keep a closer look at those teams, but I have always been curious about Netherlands aka “Oranje”, I think that they are so ready for Denmark.

They have a strong and very capable squad to do great things during this 2010 World Cup, once again it was Giovanni van Bronckhorst who lead his team under the direction of Bert van Marwijk to a decisive victory over Denmark.

For Netherlands, Denmark was not an easy team to play with, Rafael van der Vaart got his coach to trust to work his magic and with Wesley Sneijder by his side, Morten Olsen would have to be very careful about his moves.

Denmark also had a strong front to attack Sorensen and Simon Paulsen are players that could give Denmark what they were hoping for.

Netherlands gave it a shot in a 4,3,2,1, formation, that has worked quite well for Oranje, today was no exception. Even though Denmark was not at the same level of Netherlands, there wasn’t much to do in the first quarter except for a free kick by Sneijder that went too high to be consider as dangerous.

But things got easier when Denmark’s confidence was weakened, Simon Pualsen made that own goal in the first minutes of the second quarter a terrible mistake that lead Netherlands to mark their second goal at the 85 minute by Liverpool’s Dirk Kuyt.

Netherlands celebrated their victory in fact they were celebrating from days before their match. Congratulations to Netherlands the powerful Oranje!! Check out this photos and the video below.
