For the couple that has been together for eight years, marriage may in the near future for John Corbett & Bo Derek! Appearing in a few media outlets lately, the 49 year old said he may be looking to tie the knot with his girlfriend. Read more of the details below with more photos and a video.
He was on “Regis & Kelly” Friday promoting “Sex and the City 2” when some personal information slipped out. When asked about their future, he surprisingly answered with some revealing plans. But was he just caught up in the moment?
Well here is what he said about the inquiry as to whether or not John Corbett & Bo Derek would confuse their relationship with marriage.
“We were actually talking about that last night. We went to a party and we were talking about maybe doing it one day. First time we’ve talked about it in eight years! Funny Enough.”
He also recently revealed his thoughts about it in US Magazine:
“Why not? Yeah, we’ll do that one day. For sure. In the not-too-distant future.”
Okay, but as soon as people made a big deal about it, he was instantly declining it! This man who usually keeps personal things secret, was worried that people were making too much of this.
“I made some silly comments on there and now it’s coming back to bite me. I’ve done it now, haven’t I? I think Reege kind of put me on the spot there. He and Bo go back 30 years.”
Well he certainly likes his relationship it seems, but he doesn’t want to mess anything up and doesn’t really see the need to get married. He had said once that if you have kids it’s a good thing, but that they don’t want any and at their ages, kind of, what’s the point?
The couple has been together for quite some time and they live together on a ranch in California. Obviously people will wonder about their future, and maybe that’s all that is going on?
What do you think? John Corbett & Bo Derek really heading down the aisle or is it all talk? Make sure to leave your comments and see these photos and video of another one of his talk show appearances!
