It was a shocker yesterday, with the New York Giants upsetting the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl and making history and I, for one, am thrilled that the Giants pulled it off. No doubt this is what everyone is talking about today, and talk of the infamous Super Bowl commercials is put on the backburner. There were some that stood out, and some that pretty much sucked – see the videos below. Here’s what $2.7 million for 30 seconds bought you in 2008…

Pepsi: This was one of those commercials that did catch my eye…heh…mostly because there was no sound.
Coke: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is the backdrop, with Stewie and Underdog balloons going after a Coke bottle. But wait…Charlie Brown? Loved it!
Budweiser: A Clydesdale didn’t make the Budweiser team and goes into Rocky style training with a Dalmation friend.
E-Trade: Cute baby talking about trading…look out for the spit up…
Bridgestone: Squirrel almost gets run over by a car, but don’t worry, Bridgestone tires saves the day!
Go Daddy: Danica Patrick and the Beaver Ad. It sucked. Gotta go to Godaddy.com to actually watch the “uncensored” version. Please.
Victoria’s Secret: I don’t know about you, but given the fact that this was VS’s first Super Bowl ad since 1999, I thought it would have been a little bit better than this. Bo-ring.
