Here’s the latest on the Jason Alexander, cyclist colliding news from this morning. The 14-year-old teen was on his way to school when he was struck by the actor’s vehicle in L.A. Get the rest of the details plus photos and video below.
When you hear of a car and bicycle colliding, you immediately think the worse. Luckily, there were no serious injuries for Jason Alexander, cyclist or anyone else for that matter.
The 14-year-old boy was headed to school when the collision took place. He ran into the Seinfeld actor’s car near Wilshire Boulevard and June Street and then fell from his bike. Paramedics were called to the site of the accident and the boy was slightly injured with some bruises and bumps. As a precaution, the teen’s parents wanted him taken to a local hospital to be checked out.
Police are investigating the accident, but the actor was not cited. Speed, drugs or alcohol had no influence on the crash, and it is said that Jason was very cooperative with authorities.
Alexander’s rep spoke with TMZ and said:
“Jason stayed with the cyclist until the paramedics and police arrived and all indications are that the injury was minor.”
I’m just wondering…what would George Costanza have done in this situation? Panic, no doubt, eh?
Thank goodness this was an accident that did not turn tragic. You hear too many horror stories of kids riding their bikes to school only to get hit by a vehicle and they end up getting seriously injured.
So to recap, no serious injuries to Jason Alexander, cyclist or anyone else in this accident from this morning. Alexander was not at fault either.
Meanwhile, you can see some photos plus a classic Seinfeld video below. Man I really miss that show!
