Former Cincinnati Bengals’ Running Back and Heisman nominee Chris Perry was once one of the best in the field, he was unstoppable, but recently the police managed to stop him. Keep reading to know this full story plus check out the photos and video below.

Last year Chris Perry was one of the best running backs on the Bengals’ squad, but a poor performance got him on the bench and subsequently off the team. He now plays for the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League (UFL). Chris started as a legendary unstoppable running back, and on April 21st was arrested by the Brooklyn police after he allegedly got in a fight with his cousin at his aunt’s house.

Chris Perry Biography

  • Raymond Christopher Perry was born on December 27, 1981 in Advance, North Carolina.
  • His father is Raymond Perry and mother Irene Egerton Perry.
  • His parents divorced in 1990, Raymond remarried and Chris’ half sister Elizabethe was born.
  • Perry went to the Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia where he won, along with his teammates, the VISFA Stat Championships.
  • After he graduated he got into the University of Michigan.
  • His personal mark in Michigan per game was 132.4 rushing yards.
  • He finished fourth for the Heisman Trophy in 2003.
  • Also in 2003 he won the Doak Walker Award given to the top RB, The Jim Brown trophy, Big Ten Offensive Champion in the Big Ten Conference, and made the 1st team All America.
  • He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2004 NFL draft signing a six year deal worth $7 million.
  • He made his debut playing just for a couple of games after a injury left him out.
  • During the 11th game with the Bengals during the 2006 season he broke his leg.
  • He missed the entire 2007 season, but became starting running back in 2008 after Rudi Johnson got injured, unfortunately he was once again injured and ended up on the bench.
  • He was released fro the Bengals in April, 2009.
  • He signed with the UFL’s Florida Tuskers in 2009.
