As a biography, Connie was born on March 6, 1968 in Boston, Massachusetts as Constance Womack. Britton is her married name, but she is now divorced. She is 39 years old. When she was 7 years old, her family moved to Virginia. She attended E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, VA and moved on to Dartmouth College (where she majored in Asian studies). After she graduated, she moved to New York and began working on and off Broadway. She would also appear in films that were based in New York. Shortly after that, Connie decided to move to L.A. to seek out more opportunities.
Before her role as Tami Taylor on Friday Night Lights (she also played the coach’s wife in the movie version opposite Billy Bob Thornton), she got her big break on Spin City, The West Wing, and The Fighting Fitzgeralds.
