Lingerie Bowl Halftime Show Cancelled

This is the second year in a row the Lingerie Bowl has been cancelled. What ever will people watch at halftime now? Don’t fret, you can see pictures and video of past performances below.

Last year the Lingerie Bowl was supposed to appear on Pay Per View television, but Horizon Productions cancelled the game citing difficulties of switching to cable. No one wanted to buy this production? This year they have a new excuse. The city of Scottsdale is getting blamed for wasting organizers time trying to obtain a permit.

“Unfortunately we wasted too much time in Scottsdale in trying to attain a permit thus limiting our possibilities in neighboring cities,” said Horizon Productions spokesman Chris Martin.

Past Lingerie Bowl’s were played at the Los Angeles Coliseum and this was the first attempt at having the game in the same city as the Super Bowl. Despite the two year set back, Martin said a location has already been secured for Lingerie Bowl VI for Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Florida.
