Brett Favre is one of the best NFL players in the world, but today he is also the NFL’s first grandpa! His beautiful daughter Brittany gave birth to her son Parker Brett. Keep reading to know more about this story plus take a look a the photos and video below.
Brett Favre is one of the NFL’s dearest and best quarterbacks in history, he still hasn’t made any announcement on whether he will retire or might comeback for his 20th season whether with the Minnesota Vikings or another team, but what he did announce is the birth of his first grandson, Parker Brett.
We first heard of the news about Brittany who we saw for the last time during her father’s game against the Saints. Her birth made her famous father the NFL’s first grandfather last month, but we didn’t know how far Brittany’s pregnancy was or her due date or about the father, we still don’t know who the lucky guy is. Perhaps someone from Charleston College in South Carolina where she is studying journalism, Brittany just turned 22 on February 6th and like her mother, Deanne, she became a mommy at a very young age. In fact, Deanna was just 20 years old when she had Brittany Nicole, and she wasn’t married yet either, it wasn’t until Brittany was 7 that they got married. I wonder if Brittany will walk down the isle soon, or if she will wait a while.
Now we know from sources and from Brett that Brittany indeed gave birth on Friday April 2 to a healthy gorgeous boy, who they named Parker Brett.
I suppose the name Brett came from his grandfather and maybe Parker is for Parker’s daddy. Either way, he weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces.
Deanna and I are very proud and excited to welcome our new grandson Parker Brett to the Favre family. Parker Brett was born on Friday, April 2, weighing 7 lbs. 7 oz and we’re pleased to say that both Mom, Dad and Parker Brett are healthy and doing great.

We don’t have any more information about his height, exact time of his birth of kind of birth or hospital, but we promise you that as soon as we hear something , you’ll be without any doubts the first to know.
And by the way, did he mention something about his feelings of being a grandpa and returning to football? Well he sort of did, but not exactly what we were hoping to hear about football that is.
"A grandpa at 40. It almost makes me feel old. It makes things more complicated but right now I’m not thinking much about football."
