L.A Lakers’ Ron Artest might be one of the best point guards in the NBA, but he is also well known for all of his controversial activities on and off court, which is the main reason that he is starring, developing and producing his own reality show called “They Call Me Crazy”. The offer has been made by E1 Entertainment and Tijuana Entertainment.

Ron’s life on the basketball court and private life will air soon, there are no reports about the exact date on where will it air, but this hasn’t stopped Ron from sharing his reaction towards the show.

"I’m really excited to have the opportunity to invite people into my world to see the real me, and show them there are many more sides to the Ron Artest they see on the basketball court. This show will allow me to share my experiences with others, and hopefully people can learn from the mistakes I’ve made," Artest said.

E1, Tijuana Records and Tru Warier Enterprises will share credits for the show, but what is Tru Warier Enterprises?

Tru Warier is Ron Artest’s own company which is responsible for his music career. Music career? Oh yeah! Don’t you remember his rapping or singing in honor of the late Michael Jackson?  Well that was old news he also performed on George Lopez’s show Lopez Tonight, it seems that singing had been in his plans for a long time, in fact he founded Tru Warior in 2002.

But other exciting things have been around his life, well most people still and always will remember his fight with a fan at the Pistons – Pacers brawl back in 2004, but this is not his only on court scandals, he first admitted allegedly drinking cognac at the locker rooms early on in his career, he was once suspended for showing to practice wearing his bath robe, he had a huge fight with coach Pat Riley from the Miami Heat and showed his middle finger to fans afterward. He did the same in Cleveland and the next year at a press conference, he also broke a television camera in NY back in 2003. He was fined $35,000, and let’s not forget his “defense” hair cut.

And what about his off court scandals? Ok! Alleged domestic violence in 2002 and 2007. Animal Services took his Great Dane dog Socks away from him, who was receiving poor nutrition, he applied for a job at Circuit City so he could get an employee discount, and showing off at Jimmy Kimmel Live wearing just his boxers. I mean Ron is more than qualified for the reality show and I have to add what a great title they’ve chosen – ”They call Me Crazy”. Maybe with this show we can be the better judges of that, what do you think? This is not the first time he gets the chance to show the audience his private life, back in 2008 World Star Hip Hop’s Jordan Towers followed Ron on their own Ballers & Rappers.
