The gorgeous Torah was born in Cocoma, Australia on December 27, 1986. She grew up surrounded by her mother Marion and her father Peter and her five brothers and sisters, in the beautiful ski area of the Snowy Mountains or “The Snowies”. Most of them learned how to ski since a young age. This is the case of Torah, who started skiing at age two, even though she started as a down hill racer, her brother Ben got her into snowboarding. By the time she was just eleven years old she was already competing in local events.

Her first professional competition was at the 2001 FIS National Championships (2nd halfpipe). In 2002 she landed 9th at the Grandprix (Halfpipe), 6th (slopestyle) at the 2002 US Open, 2nd (HP) in the 2002 Australian Championships, 19th (HP) at the 2002 Vans Triple Crown, 14th (SS) at the World Superpipe Finals in 2003, 5th (HP) at the 2003 Grand Prix. In 2004 she finished 2nd (HP) at the FIS World Cup and at the World Superpipe Finals. Again at the FIS World Cup she won first place (HP).

In 2006 Torah arrived to the Winter Games in style giving some of her best tricks, she competed in slopestyle (4th and Super pipe(2nd), she won the 1st place at the 2006 US Open and at the Vans Cup, she finished 2006 ranking 10th overall.

In the 2007 US Open she won the 3rd (Super pipe) and 2nd (Slopes style), she won the X Games 13, was the champion at the Burton Global Open Series and the TTR World Snowboard, 1st place at the Nippon Open and also at the World Superpipe Championships in 2007 and 2008. Also in 2008 she won the 1st place at the US Open, 2nd at the Chicken Jam and at the XGames (superpipe). In 2009 she won the 1st place at the Winter games and the US Open.
