Tiger Woods’ return to golf is rumored to happen this spring, but which event will be his first? Read more, plus photos and video below.
RadarOnline.com has reported exclusively that Tiger Woods’ return to the PGA tour will happen in the spring, when he has completed his stint in rehab.
Woods reportedly is at Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, participating in a six week program. A source said:
“Tiger is totally devastated. He wants to show everyone that he intends to change.”
It is not clear which event the golf great will participate in, but The Masters, which starts on April 5th, would be a great tournament for him to start his comeback, don’t you think? I mean he has won the tourney four times before, so it only seems fitting. He may not be ready that soon, but he has a lot to prove, and we all know how focused Tiger can get when he sets his mind to it.
Don’t look for a public announcement from the Woods’ camp regarding his return, it is said that this news is being kept mum and his rehab stint should assure everyone that he is on the path to becoming a changed man. It’s too bad that it may be a little bit too late for his wife Elin to be convinced of that.
One thing that hasn’t changed about Tiger? His humanitarian efforts. He reportedly has donated $3 million (although that figure is unconfirmed) to help the relief efforts in Haiti. You may remember his monetary donations to the victims of the Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. He’s not that heartless…
So what are your thoughts on Tiger Woods’ return to golf? Is it too soon? We couldn’t honestly believe that he would take a looooong break from golf, did we? Leave me a comment, plus check out pictures and a related video below.
