Johnson, the daughter of New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, died January 4th. She had two beloved dogs, Zoe and Elvis.

The oldest of Casey Johnson’s dogs, Zoe, is around 20 years old and is in need of medical care, suffering from liver problems and is reportedly blind. A source close to the family told E!:

“She is something like 20 years old. Sadly, she probably should have been put down a while ago. She’s suffering.”

Tequila, who was engaged to Johnson at the time of her death, called the police after Hilton and Phillips came to retrieve the dogs at her home (video below), claiming that they were going to put them to sleep so that they could be buried with Casey. On the contrary, so says TMZ. The two simply went to take the pooches for a checkup at the vet and they are now with the Johnson family. Nicky even took to her twitter page and tweeted, ‘Hope this clears up the rumors…” and provided a link to the TMZ story explaining what had happened.

In honor of Casey, members of the New York Jets organization wore blue Juvenile Diabetes awareness bracelets during the Jets/Bengals playoff game in Cincinnati. She was diagnosed with JD as a child, and her family founded the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The cause of Casey’s death is still under investigation.

According to Radar Online, a funeral was held for Johnson yesterday in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Tila Tequila was not in attendance and reportedly not invited.

We are pleased to hear that Casey Johnson’s dogs are doing just fine and are with family. Check out the video below plus more pictures of Casey below.
