Terrell Owens warns Jessica Simpson to stay away from Texas Stadium

After Tony Romo’s less than stellar performance he had Sunday, many fans have blamed the fact that Tony’s new girlfriend, Jessica Simpson, was in the stands cheering him on wearing a pink #9 jersey. Clearly, Romo was distracted. Fans remember the last time another high profile girlfriend came to watch him play – Carrie Underwood was in the stands last year when Romo had yet another disastrous game.

Terrell Owens – the ever vocal player that he is – told reporters Wednesday:

“Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite—in this locker room or in Texas Stadium. With everything that has happened, obviously with the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Underwood, I think a lot of people feel she has taken his focus away. Other than that, she was high on my list until last week.”

The Cowboys lost the game against the Philadelphia Eagles 10-6. It was Romo’s worst game ever in his career.

And if the Cowboys make the playoffs? Owens said, “Oh, I got a message for her when we make the playoffs. Just stay tuned.”

Okay, so even though Jessica Simpson isn’t high on my list, I don’t think it’s fair that she’s the one being blamed for Tony’s crap of a game. Sure, he was distracted, is that Jessica’s fault? For Terrell to come forth and tell the buxom blonde to stay away from their games – ridiculous. But, that’s who Terrell is…he can’t seem to keep his comments to himself…
