If you didn’t watch the Spike TV ‘Video Game Awards’ on Saturday, and consequently missed the world premier trailer for ‘UFC Undisputed 2010’, we have good news for you. And that is, some smarty-pants invented YouTube aka ‘The best thing since sliced bread’. And perhaps it’s even better, but that call… I leave up to you my friend. Anyways, after you peruse over this article, please feel free to take a gander at the clip below.

Please Note: Due to copyright issues YouTube has retracted the video that was promised above… Sorry! I have since replaced it with another vid.

THQ is the company responsible for developing the initial version of the exceedingly popular MMA video game, as well as WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2010.

From the trailer it is difficult to tell what improvements THQ made to the updated version, but it seems as if the animation was slightly adjusted for visual enhancement. The chief complaint about the 2009 version is that it lacked in the downloadable content department, and as a result ended up getting stale rather quickly.

So, when will you be able to get your hands on it? The release date is set for sometime in Spring 2010.

The game features 5 categories: Heavyweights, Light Heavyweights, Middleweights, Welterweights, and Lightweights. And I think it’s safe to say that many of the fighters that we saw on last year’s version will be on this years, including: Cheick Kongo, Brock Lesnar, Frank Mir, Rashad Evans, Forrest Griffin, Lyoto Machida, Thiago Silva, Matt Hughes, Diego Sanchez, Georges St-Pierre, Kenny Florian, and BJ Penn. Oh yeah, did I mention that Kimbo Slice made this years cut of featured fighters?!

What are your thoughts on the ‘UFC Undisputed 2010’ trailer?
