Sean Sherk will face off against opponent Jim Miller at UFC 108, which will take place on Jan. 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Read more below.
Sherk got a promotion, Yay! So congrats to him. Instead of competing in the preliminary match-ups aka the ‘Bathroom Break Brawls’ like he was scheduled for, he’ll be taking on Miller in what I like to call the ‘Big Boy Bouts’. His promotion came after Tyson Griffin was forced to pull out of the event, which left room for Sherk to step up and take his place.
This fight will be no cakewalk for SS either, because his opponent has won two in a row, and has previous honors such as “Fight of the Night” and the “Submission of the Night” award.
Unlike the last event, which aired on Spike TV for free, this one is no freebee. So if you want to watch it live you’ll either, A, have to drop some bucks at a bar, or B, order it on Pay-Per-View.
The notable match-ups on the UFC 108 Fight Card:
Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva
Paul Daley vs. Dustin Hazelett
Joe Lauzon vs. Sam Stout
Junior Dos Santos vs. Gilbert Yvel
